How do I regulate the humidity? I add water and it get up to over 80 and no water 10-20 how do I get it to 55

I think you should dry it out with paper towels and try adding literally a tsp at a time and wait in between like a half hour and keep making tiny additions of water. The other thing you could do is add a damp sponge then see what happens to humidity...
