Q: Week one of incubating (first time). Should there always be water in my bator?

When you first set your eggs, your humidity should be around 45 - 50%.
This time of year the house is usually very dry, so the water will evaporate quickly.
I only add water when humidity drops significantly (a 20-30% drop).
During the last 3 days bump humidity up to 65-70% and keep it there.
