I would if I had low results, but I played with two different humidities and tweaked my temperature a little and was averaging an 85% hatch rate by my 4th hatch. If it ain't broke, I ain't gonna fix it

If I had 1000 eggs to check at 200 per tray, I'd weigh them rather than candle them if I needed to check air cells.

Exactly. Once you "get a feel for it" then you don't need to experiment or make changes unless your results decrease.

Guess that makes more sense weighing large amounts per tray like that.
