I set eggs on the 1st of the month, and they have not hatched yet. I opened one last night to see if they was even alive, And it was..It was absorbing the yolk.
something I saw while opening the egg was the membrane seemed to be kinda tough I guess.

I had the bator set at 98-99 degrees and 50 to 55 percent fareignheit. heard that having it higher would decrease hatch rate and might be better to go lower.
Suggestions please.

For chicken eggs...temp 99 Days 1-18 ~Humidity 40% Lock Down/ Days 19- till hatch ~Humidity 65% - 75% Your humidity wasn't way off it can go to 50% days 1-18. But, needs to be jacked up days 19 through hatch. the hatch can take longer if temp is too low or if humidity not high enough for hatch. if theres no pip yet you can very quickly remove 1 at a time & candle to see if any movement. Good luck, ~Julie~
