Humming quails???

I finally moved mine outside today and I set up their dirt baths. Oh boy do they love those, lol. I was sitting there watching them play when I heard a noise almost like a humming sound coming from my male quails. I am curious as to what it means.

My male button makes the same noise while bathing in sand. That's the only time I hear him do it. So funny that yours does the same!
