mamaKate, Marie sounds like a good hunter! My three cats can generally only catch smaller rodents, with the occasional bird thrown in. For them they don't need the extra food either. This cat though is a stray who comes begging, so I'm pretty sure she at least is hungry. We already have three cants, including two former strays, which is why I'm not allowed to feed her.
Then of course there was my neighbors cat, who at eighteen years of age and with no teeth left, would still catch chipmunks and gnaw them to death
