Awwwh. D: My stepdad went hunting with his best friend and they shot a buck near darkfall, and they lost the blood trail. D: Noooo. D:

Scratch one buck, they shot two and lost both. And they were like, 36 pointers!!!

Wow! Where do you live where bucks grow that big without getting shot when they're forkeys? I'm sorry you lost them, hope you find them.

Night time predator attacks of various kinds last week. Lost a whole lot of ducks.

I think I might try a trap instead...been a long weekend of sitting up all night-early AM with nothing.

I would try the traps for sure. Cause I am not doing the whole stay up all day and night thing anymore had enough of that in the Army. I was so excited about fall archery season this year went and had my old bow completely redone and havent even went yet lol.

O yeah bow hunting is big business. And tons of fun. Also it allows one to get more hunting. Time thus more chances of success in a hunting season.

Ever get a wild turkey?
Are they tough or is it better to raise your own?

I haven't every gotten a wild turkey myself before. I don't remember if I have ever eaten one either. But I did get a squirrel for breakfast earlier though.

It's SNOWING! Which is pretty awesome, but I'm a little worried this early cold weather will throw the antelope into a funk, we hunt next week.
