hunting trip

My DH took my 8yo son hunting today .. they both were soo excited.. I havent herd anything and I want to know how it went.. it is dark now so they should be packing up and on their way home..

Im on pins and needles.. (making soap to keep my mind occupied, isnt helping

NOTHING!!! they didnt even see a squirl.. my son was sooooo tired.. he is not used to getting up at 4 in the morning. I told them they should go out again tomorrow.. They had fun shooting the gun tho..

MY husband said that normally you can hear gun shots from around.. today was the first day of hunting season here.. they herd a total of 11 shots fired the whole day.

ok so they are going on a morning hunt. Hopefully they will be back this afternoon... we have a lot to do around here.. we are having a bomb fire going away party at our house for some friends tomorrow..

Oh that would just make my sons YEAR!!! he was telling me that when he shot the gut he shot can "strait on" I thought that was cute.. They even went out on wednesday with a bag of apples and some corn and put it out there where they were going to be sitting.

It was a bit rainiy and windy yesterday. the swirling kind of winds.. I hope today is better..

but yes.. the wait begins......

Can your 8 year old fire a rifle in Florida? Up here the kids need
to be around 12 to get a license.

I hope they bring home a moose.

despise hunting what did the deer ever do to us?and imo 8 is way too young to hunt anyway
