I hunt but didnt get my buck this rifle season *cries* LOL

I hunt small game, whitetail, turkey, pheasant, and am considering duck. I also fish- trout, pike, bass, hoping to go up north for salmon sometime!

I want to hunt but have only hunted for keys, socks, and shoes!! Does that count? One of theses days I will!!! Deer, quail, pheasant..... only can dream right now!! And eat ground deer someone gave BIL!

edited to add I like to fish, even gots me a pole but no license yet!! Will have before too long!!

Ihunt small game, large game. I trap and I fish. This year put 3 deer in the freezer.

my son hunts, going out for Muzzleloader today. My boyfriend "takes his gun for a walk", I plan to go next year.

Must be what my BIL and nephew do too "take their guns for a walk" cause I can't remember them even bringing a thing!! and they have been in the family for 9 years!! nephew brought a fish home once but he was like 7 or 8 then! He is 15 now and a couple years ago, I think he went with his dad and uncle and asked his uncle to tote him out of the woods, this year he has been and he walked too much, and then went to his dad and sleep for hours! Big hunter Right!!!

I used to hunt all the time, Now I live in San Diego..Not so much anymore.

I Loved primative weapons, Long bow, recurve, 50cal flint lock, 45 cal cap buster muzzle loader, muzzle loader shotgun, etc...
I'm a firm believer in "One shot one kill"
Now I use a 35mm (actually DSLR no film) and get just as much out of it and still have my stalking skills in case the world ends...I'll still eat well.
