HURRAY!!! we have our first EGG!

Well my daughter went in to check on her favorite Hen (Goldie) we honestly are not sure what type she is (IF ANYONE) can tell us that would be GREAT!

She is our favorite and such a sweetie pie! Goldie finally turned 5 months old we noticed on Sunday she was staying in the coup all day, laying on her hay nest and usually she is the first one to run out the coup to free range. We got back home in the afternoon and Goldie left us a present our first Green/Blue Egg!

Good job Goldie we knew you could do it! Most of my hens are 4 to 5 months old she is the oldest and is going to show them all how it is done...

I would think that because of the blue/green egg that she is an easter egger.
