I have a 2 month old chick and i was wondering if she will be okay in the storm?!?!?!? She is too big to go under her mom and she is wet and shivering!!! My mom wont let me bring them in the house

I have a 2 month old chick and i was wondering if she will be okay in the storm?!?!?!? She is too big to go under her mom and she is wet and shivering!!!  My mom wont let me bring them in the house:/  What should i do??? 
Can you take her in enough to blow her dry? After you do that, put her back in the coop. Lock them all in the coop until the storm passes. Keep them as dry as possible.

We aren't supposed to be hit badly here, though I am monitoring the weather network just in case. I have chicks with heat lamps and an incubator running with very valuable eggs.
