Hurricane Matthew

I would take up the barn offer and move them inland. They will be fine crated next to each other for a few days. Maybe someone has an extra large 2 door dog crate you can zip tie together to make a larger enclosure. (And still have access to give them food/water)

It appears from what I've read that the European model of Matthew is working out to be more accurate than other models. It has had the hurricane missing the Carolinas (staying off shore), but scraping hard the east coast of Florida. The latest Euro track prediction is showing an odd path, though. It basically shows Matthew turning east at about the SC/NC state line and heading out to sea. The model then shows Hurricane Matthew to continue turning to the right to eventually make a complete, tight loop and head back north. The good part about this prediction is that it shows Matthew to be further offshore on it's second northward trek, putting it well to the east of the Virginia coast. But, this is all "prediction" and "modeling"...no guarantees. Coastal areas north of Virginia may be impacted but hopefully the storm will be weakened by then.

Be safe,
