Same way Dakotans do. Or my brother in Vegas. Jump on a plane and pick up a ship somewhere on the coast. Galveston, maybe.

If it is to be a word, you have to spell it forageability, to make the "g" soft like a "j." Dem's da roolz.

It’s true! Sometimes I curse the heat, but then during the winter there are times that they get stuck in their coop for a week at a time when we get feet of snow. Unfortunately, we didn’t build their run to be blizzard-proof. I’ve worked on it since these pictures, and it is partially covered now, but they still get stuck inside when it snows heavy. We sprout lentils and do forage boxes and they have ladders and things to climb on inside the coop when it snows to keep busy.

I also put a bail of alfalfa out in the run for them to break apart all winter. Sprinkle scratch and BSFL on it and they “forage” through that all winter. It’s something I guess!

It would be a drastic change for me now, even though I lived most of my life with snow and ice through winter. I would have to sit in front of the fire place for a couple of months!
