I am holding back on firing up the bator and I have one girl trying to go broody! But she is a bantam and I can only fit a few big eggs under her!

I just asked my DH this morning - when is spring coming.... I want to smell the butterfly bushes, mow the green growing grass, enjoy the warm outdoors with my chickens and 2 boys... watch the DH work the garden.... walk bare footed (I hate shoes)

Darn it - I am already TIRED of the cold, wet muddy ground.....

as for chicks - it's to late I fired the incub. up last night..
