Hurt 3 day old chick

A couple days ago one of our hens hatched 4 new chicks. She was keeping them in the house part of the chicken coop and doing a good job keeping them safe and warm. Yesterday night we found one of them outside with his head and neck injured. We have no idea what happened to him and when we found him he was barely moving. We got it to eat some food and drink water and it is moving around.

Right now it cannot open one of his eyes and I can’t tell if the eye is damaged. I’ve attached pictures. Is it worth trying to nurse it back to health or will he just continue to suffer? The internet said to treat the wound with saline solution and iodine but is there something worse that would be better?
