I went into the barn after work as always and I always count my chickens and roosters. I was missing someone? the rooster was not visible and that it strange, he is always front and center with the other rooster. I looked and found him under the coop which is about 3 feet off the ground inside our big barn. There is also a indoor fence around the outside of the coop so they have more room to roam in the winter months. this rooster has never let me pick him up and he was not moving. i approached him slowly and he did not move, then I put my hand on him, he did not move so i knew something was wrong, i reached out and picked him up and when i stood up I saw blood coming from underneath him and realized it was coming from his feet. I looked like his toe's were either tore off or mangled or ate off I do not even know. His head was sort of hanging like he could not keep his head up and he had like a clear fluid running out of his mouth or nose. He was probably crying. I took him in the house and put warm water in the sink and cleaned him up. It was awful, his side two "talens" if you will, on both feet were ripped half off, or something, he also had no feathers on his underneath but it looked like he never did, in a small area, like his belly area, and closer to his chest there was a little blood with 2 feather's missing, also up by his shoulder it looked like there was a little blood with a couple feathers missing. I soaked him for a bit, put some peroxide on him and then bluecoat. put him in isolation and i am hoping for the best, worried about him being in pain, any suggestions for me I will take. You have always all helped me in the past. Thanks (He is acually a lot bigger now) I will try and get a picture of his wounds tonight when I get home.

Gosh this is so sad.
Will follow and look for your pictures to post tonight.

Pictures of his injuries would help. If by his 'talons' you mean his spurs, then I would suspect he either got in a royal battle with your other rooster (how old are they?) or he tried to fight off a predator attack, and did not fair well. I also would not use peroxide again. If you have some veterycin spray, use that, hibiclens is also good. You can use plain neosporin on the wounds. Check him over for punctures, which can hide in the feathers, try to flush those out as best you can. Try to keep him hydrated, and keep him in a low light, quiet, warm area and give him some time, he is likely in shock.

Can you get a little sugar water or electrolytes into him?
Photos may be helpful.
I'm sorry that he's injured. I agree, he may have been fighting since his feet are damaged or a predator try to pull at him, hard to know unless someone witnessed it.

Nonetheless, once you get him stabilized, it would be a good idea to look around your coop area for any signs of predator activity.

Sorry I didn’t see the tag yesterday. Using peroxide once is not a big deal. In recent years, it has been found to prevent healing, but it is still good to get wounds to bubble out any infection. I prefer betadine or chlorhexidene for initial wound cleaning. Then usually saline is fine, or Vetericyn Wound Spray. Plain triple antibiotic ointment or neosporin is good to keep on the wounds twice a day. Is he eating and drinking?

Was there a way for a predator to get into the chicken run? It is always possible with having two roosters, for one to occasionally challenge another, and he may have been the loser, especially since he was outside the coop. Are both roosters silkies? One might have to be separated permanently if they were fighting. Of course, I would look for any possible predators, such as a cat, dog, raccoon, possum, fox, or others. Hopefully, your handsome rooster will heal soon. His spurs should grow back in the next months. Let us know how he gets along. Below is a picture of rooster parts:
