Hurt Eye

One of my cockerels has been in a fight with another cockerel, and seems to have hurt his eye. He keeps it tight shut, and has only opened it slightly a couple of times.

Can anyone suggest anything that could help him?

Flush his eye with saline solution. Then put terramycin eye ointment in his eye to prevent infection. Your feed store should carry it.
