Hurt Foot on my hen

Hello fellow chicken enthusiasts. Can anyone help me with a diagnosis and treatment of my poor RIR hen. Her foot is swolen and she has some type of lesion on the bottom of her foot. It is clearly painful. I soaked it in some warm water and sprayed with Vetericyn spray. Thoughts? Thanks!

That is bumble foot. It is an abscess from a small cut in the foot pad. Soak it daily in warm Epsom salts water for 15 minutes to soften the scab. Then try removing the scab, and squeezing like cray, to get the pus plug out. Then apply a bandage with plain Neosporin, and change it every day or so. There are a lot of ways to treat this, including soaks, sugardine (Betadine plus sugar in a paste) dressings, and surgery, but I would try the simplest method first.
