Hurt leg maybe??

I have a pullet that’s not putting weight on one leg. I checked and I don’t see any wounds and it doesn’t look like anything is wrong, but for 2 days she won’t get up and walk around unless absolutely necessary and stumbles when she puts weight on one of her legs. She is still eating and drinking and I haven’t seen anyone else picking on her. But she just limps around when she has to walk and then stays sitting down the rest of the day. I have no idea what’s wrong?

I’m sorry about your hen… try checking her whole shank and thigh for injuries or anything abnormal, also her hip for dislocation or any kind of weird feeling, etc. It may just heal by itself after a couple weeks, but if she is eating and drinking I don’t think you need to worry about her passing. I hope you’re able to find out what’s wrong with her, and best of luck on fixing the problem!
