hurt leg

I'm still new at all this. I have a buff that I just saw that she is limping. she won't put her weight on her right leg. Husband still at work and I can't do much for her before husband gets home. But if she is injured do we need to put her by herself. I haven't seen any other chickens bother her but I feel for her.

I had a duck this happened to, so I separated him and his mate from the rest of the bunch and it took him about a week to recuperate. Are there any noticeable reasons she would be limping? Like Swelling or a cut?

Well I got her confined into a small cage. I think that there might be a little swelling and a cut or something for i think i saw some blood. I will be able to look better with a second pair of hands in about two hours. in the mean time she is separate for the others and out on the cold breeze (in the 40's with wind today)
