Hurt Leg

My 6 %%yearold Grand-daughter stepped on foot of 4-week old chick and now she favors it....and keeps it pulled up.....any ideas what to do or check? She is really upset with hurting it

It is probably just bruised, have you checked to see if it is swollen in any joints? If not, give it a few days and it should be alright.

She will use it occasionally to scratch and stuff but she for sure favors it when standing and usually does not put much or any weight on it.
We are praying for the best....

She seems to be using it a little more today. she is putting a little more weight on it and not keeping it pulled up most of the time...Fingers are crossed and prayers.....

Just an update, she seems fine. No favoritism or anything on that leg now. Whew.... Thanks for your advice and suggestions.

Great!! I'm very glad to hear that Sometimes I find it best not to drive yourself crazy over little things unless it gets worse or you can tell something is broken. Glad we are good!!
