Hurt nail on my pekin duck

Any suggestions of what I should do? His nail is broke, I think..

I can't really tell what happened from the pictures...did it get cut, or pushed in? My pekin lost her back nail once and it bled and I was so worried, stopped the bleeding, and it was fine. It grew back and is back to normal. You could put a dab of triple antibiotic ointment on it to make sure it doesn't get infected.

You can flush some of the blood off with some saline, but comparing the length of the nail to the other nails present on the foot, it appears to be very sort, possibly indicating it broke off. A few more pictures would help confirm this.
