hurt toe

hi--
my 8 week old hen looks like it ripped it's toe. toe was bleeding, and the chicken was holding it's leg up in the air. The hens are in a coop at night which is half wire and half plywood with shavings. During the day they are out in a penned area on grass. wondering what i should do about her toe?
new to the chicken husbandry...is the wire what cut her toe?

The wire could have cut her toe. But if you're using a metal feeder, there have been a lot of cut toes from those lately.

Clean it well with hyrogen peroxide the first time, put a little iodine on it if you have it, then dress it with neosporin (without the painkiller). Keep her cleaned up, check that toe daily.
