Hurting legs?

I seriously think one of our chickens really hurt in her legs. Both maybe, but definitely the left leg, which she now draws up tightly to her body.
This has been going on for a week now, but has gotten worse. It started when I saw her limping when she, together with the others ran to me at feeding time. Now she doesn't even run or walk over. Today I had to pick her up and bring her to the food. She doesn't eat much either. Definitely not feeling well! Is there any remedy?
There are no signs outward as to what could be the problem. Not as far as I can tell.
Is someone familiar to this ailment? Thankful for responses.

She appears to have an advanced case of scaley leg mites. You will need to coat her legs in Vaseline daily for several weeks. I would also treat her with Ivermectin

thank you so much!! I live in Sweden so I have to ask what Ivermectin contains, so I maybe can find something of the kind here.
Is this ailment because of anything we have not done, or done wrong?

Scaley leg mites are tiny parasites that burrows under the leg scales and feeds on the chicken. You don't necessarily have to do anything wrong for your chickens to get them. This case is quite advanced so it went overlooked for a long period of time. I would check your other chickens as well. Ivermectin is a drug used in deworming medication but can be used successfully to treat leg mites. You may need to get it from a vet. Here you can get it as a dewormer for horses in a oral paste form, or for cattle in a liquid pour-on form.

Your local vet could also be of help in getting ivermectin. The oil will start helping if used twice a week, but I would try to use ivermectin. Some also have used dog and cat flea medicine which contains fipronil, applied to the back of the neck along the spine.
