I'm kinda going through all 5 stages (except anger) of grieving all at once, the whole guilt, sadness, bargaining and even a bit of acceptance (he smoked and I realize the one benefit is that the house will no longer smell like cigarette smoke).

I still feel like when I go to bed, that when I wake up everything will be back to normal but I know it won't and it's tough.

The hospital called and said they are going to do an autopsy tomorrow. He had chronic knee and back pain, and was on a lot of pain medication and I think they're looking to see if he did an accidental overdose. Also called about organ donations but due to the narcotics (prescribed) that he took for pain he is only elegible for things like tissues and eyes, but I did sign off for donations for those.

I commend you for organ donation even if they werent able to accept them, it is great to offer help to others
