(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My grandfather bought me a pair of Bantam chickens when I was little and I had a little coop. We raised them for several years and had a little flock of 5 or 6 at the most. That was my last experience with chickens.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Right now I have none.

(3) What breeds do you have?

I don't have any currenly but I am very interested in Dominques, Orpingtons, Cochins, and the Russian Orloff as well as guinea fowl and peafowl.

](4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I googled "chicken breed info" and this was at the top of the list.

I LOVE reading (obviously) I have been reading over these forums for weeks now and finally decided to join. There is more information on here than I could ever retain in a lifetime. I have a few close friends and I am very close to my Mother so other than working, going to school, studying, reading, Facebooking

, I enjoy traveling, going to the theatre, white-water rafting, and hiking although I don't get out as much as I used to.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I work as a Manager at a restaraunt. I am unmarried and have no children except five beautiful feline kids ages 5 months to 5 years. I LOVE all kinds of animals and always grew up around farms. I am hoping one day soon to move out of my apartment and buy a house and get some chickens. I have an idea and picture in my mind of how this would work out but I want to be as informed as possible when the time comes.
