Now before I start the weather is nice the cat run fence is built on slabs and is covered so nothing is going to get to her and (something she found facinating) when it rains the run is covered so no wet hen. One of my hybrid girls has taken to refusing to sleep anywhere but the cat run. the coops have just had a coating in diatomaceous earth and they got a good coating of the stuff a couple of days ago. I watched the group and saw no picking on her and the vet says she is in great health. So why does she not want to sleep in either of the two coops? They are not cramped in I have seen them they are happy split between a large coop and an ark. She sleeps on the shelf in the cat run (had to make her leave the house she likes being in the house but I prefer no house chicken.
