PLEASE help!
We are in desperate need to rehome our hybrid rooster.
Tortilla is a friendly young roo approximately 15weeks old. He was 2IC but we rehomed the dominant rooster and now he's taken up the mantle of crowing (badly) at 4am. We live in the 'burbs and CANNOT keep him. *sad* We have no idea what breed he is, the documentation that came with him was GROSSLY misleading, stating that he would be light sussex.
Hand raised in a free range environment from about 2-3 weeks old. Has had constant human contact, including a 5 year old and 8 year old. They are used to dogs (or, at least A dog) Very placid birds, great around kids, eat out of your hand etc. Will put himself away at night into their hutch. This is a deeply regrettable and sad rehoming for us but because of where we live we simply cannot keep him.
There will POSSIBLY be a second bird in need of rehoming but we are unable to tell sex at this stage. Second bird is a black australorp hybrid.
