Hey!
I'm trying to write about my ducks and I can't find much of anything about who created the hybrid white layer or what country they originate from.
Also one more thing my girl HWL's as they got older they have speckled black dots on their bills while my boys don't. Anyone else have this experience?
Thank you in advance!! ;)

Are White layers the same as Hybrid WLs? I love my pekins, but have thought about WLs because they're smaller and I've heard they have less problems with legs. I'd love to hear what you like about your ducks! My pekins are all females and have developed gray spots on their beaks.

I really like my hybrid white layers. 3 out of 4 are calm and will take a treat from your hand. Yes they are the same from my knowledge. So far I haven’t had any leg issues with the HWL’s the most leg problems I’ve had have been my welsh harlequins. I love all my ducks but the welsh harlequins have been the most fragile but are very sweet cute and very pretty. I also have blue Swedish they are tough and very cute and sweet as well.
I only have 1 HWL drake who won’t take a treat from my hand but everyone else will. Since you don’t have a drake you could just add some HWL’s if you wanted to. They are fun to have around!!!:D

And are good layers and my 2 girls have only missed a day here and there. A few of my other gals have started laying just in the last two days instead of 2 eggs a day I get 5 now yay!!;):wee
