Hydrangea in Quail pen

I'm looking for a spot to put our quail permanently since they are getting too big for their brooder fast. My yard is mostly dirt and sun but I have a small area with 2 trees and 3 hydrangea plants underneath. Are hydrangea ok for quail? I know they like plants in their pens to hide under but wasn't actually sure if they were poisonous to quail or any animal really.

Not sure they'd eat them cuz the mature leaves are kind of not tender. Try a Google search
