I’ve purchased some Hydrangeas to plant in the stand of trees where the chickens free range. I’ve read that Hydrangeas will cause problems.

The chickens are well fed with kitchens scraps, access to feed all day and grass/insects while free ranging 8-12 hours a day.

My question is WILL they eat the Hydrangeas with all the other options available?

Thanks.

I've not read that about hydrangeas, but I have them in the garden with free ranging chickens and we've never had a problem. If the chickens have lots of options, they will instinctively avoid things that are bad for them, at least in a quantity that is bad for them.
