Hi all my fellow Okies!! When my family moved out to the country I thought to myself, "Wow, the kids could really learn a lot about different animals now that we have the room to have them." That was two years ago and I just now got a broody hen yesterday.

I was so excited!! Then I realized that our rooster died not too long ago.

So now I am looking for some eggs. I was going to order some... but then I read that isn't a good idea. Is there anyone within driving distance from me that would like to sell me some of their fertilized eggs? I'm not picky. I just want to try to hatch chickens so my kiddos can see how momma chickens do it. I could also use some advise if you have done this yourself. Thanks
