Hydrometer question

Is it necessary to recalibrate the hydrometer in between hatches? Hope that is not a stupid question

I don't think so, but I put in fresh batteries every time. It depends upon how accurate it has been for you.

a hygrometer only needs to be calibrated whenever it's off.

Ooops.. Can't believe I posted the wrong word!! hehehe. Humidity!!! ugggh. No this is a gauge type device that cannot be turned on or off. Thanks for your reply. I'll go back under my chair now.
