Hygrometer is acting funny...

So I have a hygrometer/thermometer from Georgia Quail Factory. It's been very reliable, but for some reason it has started flashing on and off. Could the battery be dying? I've only had it on for 21 days.
 
Mine will do the same thing if the humidity is above 75%, I take it out and let it air dry for about an hour and its ok....
