Hygrometer Questions

I am trying to make a home made bator and I'm looking for a hygrometer. Is digital ok? Do they work as well?

i have three digital and one thats not. i dont know which is better but i have had some strange readings from some of the digital ones when they have been in the incubator for a while i think the heat does something to then. i currently have one digital and one not in the same incubator so i can double check the readings. one thing to definately do is to calibrate them so you know how accurate they are. one of mine reads high and the other reads low. not sure how much help this is
