Hyper chick?

One of my chicks I think has imprinted on me, as she constantly calls for me whenever I’m not visible, and when I am she hyperly peeps in my direction. I hold her to get her to settle down, but still she peeps in a very energetic way. I don’t think it is stress. She was acting rather lethargic yesterday, but has gotten much more active today. Is there a way to settle her down?

Loud peeping generally means they are unhappy. Can you share more about how it's kept? Are there other chicks? What's the brooder temperature?

One other chick, who is very quiet and content. She is at an adequate temp and has lots of food and water readily available
