Two weeks ago, while this terrible heat was with us here in St Louis, one of my 20 week old EEs did not come out of the coop to run around on a Tuesday evening. I found her just barely moving, head down. She could barely stand or move, and her head was limp. She was the one bird who seemed to walk around with her wings hanging down for the previous 2 weeks... Presumable suffering from the heat. I should have picked up on that sooner. We brought her inside the house where I happily pay to keep it 72 degrees (!), and she was happy to eat a slurry of yogert and sprouted wheat grass, some hamburger and green powder, and pedialite blended altogether to liquify it. I had to hold the top of her head, and let her beak rest in the liquid, and she would drink. She could not hold her head up at all. I offered her this about every 15 minutes until we went to bed (and prayed that she would be OK). I got online and started searching for anything to help, and came across this link where they talk about Hypericum as a treatment for Mareks.

I was afraid that was what she had... Now I think it was just terrible heat exhaustion or something heat related. She was no different Wed morning, and we kept feeding her. Anyway, we went out the next day and found the pills at the health food store, and started her on the treatment Wednesday about 2pm and another at 7pm, and feeding her my slurry as often as I could. I also took her outside every 4 or 5 hours, and set her on the ground, trying to encourage her to move around. She could not walk, but could stand with my help, and pooped a bit of diarreha every time. Thursday Morning I went to see her in her tub, and she was sitting comfortably, with her head in its proper position!! I will tell you, I was so thankful!! We brought in a larger tub, put a waterer in with her, and she ate some scratch grains on her own. Gave her one more Hypericum treatment that morning. When we took her outside to walk around, she was a bit unsteady, but did walk a little. We kept her in that day too, and she kept eating and drinking, and the next day it was cooler in the morning and we out her back with the other girls. She seems to have recovered totally, though on the really hot days, her wings still droop a little. One day since, I dunked her in a tub of water, and she did not object too much.

My plan is to keep this on hand, as a treatment for anything where they seem to be having trouble walking or moving, etc.

Hope this might help someone else, and I would be interested in hearing anyone else experience with it too!
