that was pretty interesting! as chicks if you take a finge and hold them on their backs and rub their bellies they will go limp and fall asleep

We did this with a 2 month old chick, that worked, too.
We’re hatching chicks and want to try the belly rub then
We were so sceptical, it was kind of fun and excitement at the same time

Haha, nice job! My boyfriend and I tried this recently with some young hens and found it to be much easier if you lay them on their side first before drawing the line.

So I ended up catching one of the roosters and trying this. I got bit on the finger for my effort. Haha
