I was going to break my broody silkie but decided to buy eggs off eBay instead. I got bantam Orpingtons. The eggs arrived today and so I have them fat side up resting to help the air cells. They are all in good shape. Now my only problem is I have I have 18 eggs and one small silkie hen . I think I am going to have to buy a incubator.. If only I could convince my other hens to go broody.

Here are the eggs. To me they look like full size chicken eggs . They much bigger than my silkie eggs but slightly smaller than my EE eggs.

The pic below in the 2nd row shows my EE’s egg, then a silkie egg and next is a serama cross egg.
