I’m going away for three days and I am so nervous about leaving our hens. I know they are safe in their pen and coop. My family will be visiting to let them out, collect their eggs and lock them up at night. I’m sure it will be fine but I’m still nervous. What do you guys do when you have to be away from home?

Since I just got my chicks today, this hasn't come up. I think it would be a good idea to set up " share and care" local network to help each other out. I don't blame you for being nervous!!

I think should give you great peace of mind that someone will be checking on them daily. I always miss mine when I go. So my thoughts are relax, take a deep breath and enjoy your time away if its for fun. And you can ask for daily updates from your family on the your flock.
