I know this isn’t a chicken thing but idk where else to ask this so I’m 13 going to carrowinds with my youth group what should I bring for the road trip there it’s considerably long all my friends are going I just want like a idea/list of what to bring and where bringing lunch to keep cost down I’m pretty sure where leaving at 10:00am and it’s in like 3 weeks it’s August 5 so yeah maybe some safety tips since carrowinds is huge
Oh and I’ve never been on a actual rollercoaster 🎢 so I’m a little nervous but I want to go straight for something like fury 325 I’m not sure and then ride all the others we are also going to the water park too!

Are you doing waterpark and coasters on the same day? If so, you might want to bring a pair of dry clothes and spare shoes/sandals. Walking around in wet socks is not fun and clothes isn't very fun. Bring a bag that you can stick your phone in while on the rides and carry water, sunscreen, and snacks.

Not sure if you will always have adults around or if the kids are going to split up, but make sure you always have a buddy or two you stick with at all times, so you don't get lost. Make sure someone in your group has some sort of communication device and plan meet up spots. The park is big but there are lots of maps around so you know where you are.

The big coasters are a lot of fun but if you aren't an adventurous adrenaline junky the biggest coasters might be a bit scary at first. Don't be afraid to ease into going on those. Start small and work your way up. And don't skip on all of the kiddie rides as some of those can be lots of fun too.

Make sure to keep hydrated and protected from the sun, it gets hot hot hot in the Carolinas in the summer! I hope you have lots of fun on your trip.

Yes I’m going the same day I don’t know what where doing first but it’s pretty much "go have fun come back when you want to" sort of thing I will definitely make sure to stick by my friends we are all bringing are phones in a water proof pouch lanyard thing and we all downloaded the carrowinds app so we would all have a map and I’m pretty sure their will be at least two adults there so yeah I will definitely make sure to ease into the rides!!!
