I’m gonna call it a cooplo

We are going to build a wooden room into our large concrete silo. This is going to be our coop. We still have the winch cord in there with a light attached and we will add clear roof panels for light. This silo has nice ventilation but isn’t damp and it’s very secure because it’s about a foot or so into the ground. We plan on adding a covered run for security and the silo is located near the alpacas, they alarm if they see anything

around they know doesn’t belong

Awesome idea! Whats your climate like? I might be concered that plastic roof panels would create a green house affect. How big is the silo in sq, ft? Also, how many ft of ventilation do you have in that silo? All just good things to keep in mind when building a coop. Looking forward to the progress.
