I’m looking at the Frozen glass 1/2 full

10 degrees this a.m. here in my neck of the woods. My day to clean poop Boards.
Normally I use my sifter to lift poo out of sand/ straw mixture .
Today everything frozen solid - with gloves, just picked it up - cleaned all 3 boards in 8 minutes.
So, I should stop griping about the cold.

11F here and I just told the Princess that all this snow plus cold temperature is not all bad - makes it easier to scoop up the dog poop.

Frozen solid poop is the only good thing I can think of about this very cold weather. Even better, the stuff under the roost is frozen into big blobs. Very easy to scoop.

Still can't wait for spring...

@Craig Cowan, I understand what you're saying. But, please, don't EVER quit griping about the cold. It is hateful, hateful, hateful.

Yes, the poop is solid blobs. But, I have been running outside every hour to check for eggs before they freeze or somebody decides to eat a nice, warm protein-filled treat. And, don't get me started on the electric waterers that are freezing solid.

Our weather is currently about 30 degrees colder than average for February. Hurry up, spring!
