So I went to Tractor Supply and got 6 chicks- correction- my kids went to Tarctor supply and bought 6 chicks.. 2 days later I went in for something and came home with 2 “supposedly” Pekin ducklings. Two days later I was in again because my sons chick died and so we bought 4 more and they threw in an extra one for free because his died. Story of how I ended up in this wild ride. Lol We absolutely LOOOVE them!! BUT, the first time there my kids didn’t know what they got - except the New Hampshire red that died. So when we returned and got the others, we “picked out” those: 2 polish, 2 Dominique & the free one was another New Hampshire red. The lady OBVIOUSLY didn’t know squat b/c we have 3 New Hampshire reds that we knew looked alike even though she got them from different bins. And our ducks- one seems like he’s def a Pekin and one maybe an Indian runner? Because he stands straight up a lot and it’s smaller than the other one & has tan feathers coming in. I’ll post pictures of all my babies see if anyone can tell me what exactly we have! Lol They are all spoiled I know that! They are all 3 weeks-3 1/2 weeks old. Hope someone can help me identify these sweeties! I’ll only post one of each kind that I’m unsure about. Thanks!! And so glad to be a part of this community. We LOVE our new additions to the family.❤️ I’m ESPECIALLY fond of the ducks. They have such a personality.
