I’m Linda and new to raising chickens . I have 9 Smokey pearl girls who are 17weeks old.
One was egg bond and I gave her an epson salt bath and she laid a rubber egg. (It was her 1st egg)
This morning she is isolating and not coming out of the coop . She seems very puffed up and lethargic .
Is it possible she has another egg in her ?

The egg looks fairly normal to me except for the shininess. I am not sure what the cause of that could be, but I think you should post in the medical forum about this. The folks in there are best equipped to advise you on this issue. Here's the link:

I agree with @JedJackson posting in the medical section will get results.
Do you have oyster shell available for your hens? You can give her a crushed tums (it has calcium) right now. I would keep her isolated in a darkened room.

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
Being a new layer her reproductive system is not fully mature. I would immediately start her on calcium citrate with vitamin D, giving her 630 mg daily. That usually equates to one tablet in the morning and one tablet at night. Do this for at least 10 days.

It's very hard for them to push a shell-less egg out. There's nothing to bear down on. The calcium citrate will help with shell production as well as contractions for pushing.

I would closely examine her vent for any signs of a broken egg. If she has an egg that broke in her oviduct, you will need to immediately start her on a course of amoxicillin to prevent infection.
