I’m new!

Hi everyone! I’m a new chick mom and I made the most common first timer mistakes. I bought 15 baby chicks because we wanted fresh eggs at home. I got them in the mail, and immediately realized I have no idea what I’m doing! This was 4 weeks ago and since then my entire family has all pulled together to research, build, and care for these amazing creatures. We are enjoying them more than we could imagine.
Any advice from seasoned owners/chicken owners is welcome!
We got ornamental layers and one rooster on accident
