I’m not sure what to do with my incubation

I've done it, but contamination factors exist if it is a wide hatch date window. Debris and umbilical mess can get into water journals and create a bio hazard once it becomes ripe. Also if you are using a Styrofoam oven, it creates hard to get out stains.
I won't stagger anymore, but we have all been there done that at one time or another. Incubation is a learning experience each time you set a batch.

:frowHello and welcome to BYC! It’s great to have you here :thumbsup

I agree with the others. It also depends on your incubator as to how difficult staggered hatches are eg if your incubator is automatic you don’t want your pipping eggs turning yet you don’t want your younger eggs not turning. And the contamination issues that Connie mentioned - can you put a divider between the eggs for example? Hatching is a messy business. I try to avoid staggered hatches if possible and I wouldn’t be inclined to recommend it if you’re new to hatching. Best of luck :thumbsup
