I’m really disappointed, please help.

Soo I have been using a homemade incubator which has been doing amazing and yesterday I went out and bought a Little giant incubator because I needed more space for them when they start to hatch. I started moving my lockdown eggs into the LGb and the temp was reading between 99.5-100 which was totally fine but my external thermometer/hygrometer was reading 99.6 when I put them in. I woke up in the morning and my external temp said 94.3 and then I opened the lid to put my hand in to see if it was wrong and it was definitely not 99 degrees. I took the eggs out this morning and put them back into my other incubator but I’m on day 16 and I think I lost my eggs......... why won’t my Lg go up I’ve tried putting the temp up too 102 ,103 it just doesn’t seem to actually want to warm up to that temp. Any advice? I’m sooo upset.

Are you hatching chicken eggs? If so, they do not go into lockdown until day 18.

Quail eggs and my humidity is 65-76

When you raise your humidity it causes the temperature to go down. Can you manually raise the temp, if not could you move it to a really warm non drafty room?

I have had lots of problems with incubators doing this very thing so I stopped using them.

It’s in my room and I haven’t touched the incubator for about 8 hours and it it’s still ready lower than what it’s saying

Yeah it really really sucks... you wait all this time and put all this effort just to lose everything..

Yes and it's usually great until lockdown day. Can you wrap a towel around the bottom half to somewhat hold heat?
