I’m the worst chicken mommy

So my buff laced polish can’t see well which is normal. I was feeling sorry for it and I remember trimming my other polish hens feathers but for a quick fix I put a ponytail in. I put her down and the other chicks attacked her head and even drew blood! Luckily I was right there and grabbed her right away.
I realized that I put a black hair tie in her white feathers which attracted attention.

I feel so bad. Going now to get some scissors.

Well at least now you know. I have kept my buff laced polish crests trimmed for many years now. It sure helped them not be so skiddish.
