Howdy! Our 5.5 week old Delaware sexed pullet from the local Wilco Farm Store is not feathering out as expected. Not seeing neck barring or smut, no black tail feather- pure white, yellow legs and a large-ish yellow comb that’s beginning to pink. Beginnings of pinks wattles. What do we think? White leghorn pullet? Cockerel? Other breed?TY!

Thank you for this! So we found two sneaky black feathers, one in the tail! There’s hope yet! But also yeah, comb and wattles are big so still thinking it’s male. But probably not a leghorn, nor a well bred Delaware.

This chicken now has random bits of tan and buff on the wings! lol it’s mutt for sure! But I’m now seeing some pointy hackle feathers, along with this massive red comb at barely 9 weeks (Wednesday) so I’m certain it’s male, and not a Delaware. Who the heck knows but he’s going to auction cause he’s bullying my girls!

I had Amberlinks a long time ago and this guy doesn't have enough of the red/tan color. He's too white and he has black. My Amberlinks didn't have black.

My Amberlink is almost all white, has just a few tiny black specks in her tail & one tiny gold streak.
